This studiosly chosen cask cask of Single Malt Scotch Whisky pays homage to a tradition of selecting the finest spirits and oak casks for maturation. One of the oldest wines of Spain, the uniquely dark, rich, and flavoursome 'Vino de Color' sherry was praised by William Shakespeare's Sir John Falstaff in King Henry IV (1597). To access a seasoned cask of this style presented a rare opportunity to create a whisky of incomparable antique character.
