Distilled October 2008 and bottled in Sptember 2022 and finished in a Graves Cask.

Cask Number: 31479/31480. Limited to 738 bottles. 

Nose: Smoky, strawberry tart, sea salt.

Palate: Peppery, salty, wine gums, raspberry

Finish: Salty and spice, smoky bacon, lemon zest

The Graves is a wine region in France taking its name from Gravier, which is French for Gravel. Its in the Bordeaux wine making region. Located on the Left Bank of the Garonne River, the Graves wine region is known for turning out some of Bordeaux’s finest red, white, and sweet wines. Confusingly, the Graves appellation is only one part of the greater Graves region, which also encompasses top appellations like Sauternes and Pessac-Léognan.
