Glenallachie 11 y/o Marsala Wood Finish 48% 

Exclusively bottled for the UK, this complex bronze malt has spent over 8 years in a premium American oak ex-bourbon barrel and then re-racked into hand selected Marsala casks to finish maturation for approximately another 42 months.

Marsala, a fortified wine produced on the Italian island of Sicily. 

This creates a well rounded palate bursting with sweet fruits and smooth caramel, leading to a velvety mouthfeel and long finish. 

Nose: Bursting with heather honey, vanilla and stewed fruit, with notes of liquorice, butterscotch and roasted nuts. 

Taste: Lashings of apricot, toffee and honeycomb, followed by hints of caramelised brown sugar, walnut and crene brulee.
