This particular expression from Glen Elgin distillery was matured in refill sherry butts and a refil sherry hogshead. The whiksy has suble sherry influences with dried apricot, prunes and cocoa aromas. The palate is initally spicy with orange, grapefruit and blackcurrant flavours, complimented by a lingering chocolate edge.
