This is a special collectors bottle from The Macallan Distillery. 

This limited edition release from the Archival Series is the 5th Edition which commemorates Macallan's advertising campaigns from the 1970's, 80s and 90s. Each edition features a metal case in the form of a book. It contains the bottle and a book explaining what the edition celebrates and also a pen drive wih even more information.

The 5th Edition remembers a campaign focusing on the tale of a 'luggy bonnet' with the phraise 'Keep this knot firmly tied'.

There is said to be 24 books in the Archival series and this has proved to be one of the most collectable Macallan series ever released.
