This unique Mannochmore rare Single Cask Single Malt Whisky was distilled and filled at the Mannochmore Distillery in 2008 and spent its last six months of maturation in a barrel that previously held the deliciously citrusy, sultana-sweet and highly prized Hungarian Dessert Wine Tokaji Aszu, considered the oldest sweet wine in the world. 

The original PINTAIL named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was first bottled and distributed by Perth based Wines and Spirits Merchant Matthew Gloag & Son in 1931. The label has been resurrected in all its original glory, including the 'DUCK IN FLIGHT' icon.

This is a rare single cask distilled and filled at Mannochmore Distillery in 2008, spending the last 6 months of it's maturation in a barrel which previously held the deliciously citrusy, sultana-sweet and highly prized Hungarian Dessert Wine - Tokaji Aszú - considered the oldest Sweet Wine in the world.
