Old Ballantruan from Speyside Glenlivet. The Peated Single Malt 50% 70cl

"Old Ballantruan" has its name due to the Ballantruan Spring used at the Tomintoul Distillery.

Distilled using heavily peated 55ppm malted barley in the traditional manner. 

After maturing in hand picked oak barrels this peated whisky non chill filtered Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been bottled at 50% to give an exceptionally good value bottling from the Tomintoul Distillery. 

Colour: Warm Glow

Nose: Heathery smoke balanced with subtle floral notes.

Palate: Gentle "peat-reek" flavours with hints of citrus tones and malty nuttiness. 

Finish: Lingering smoke and peat with a touch of malted barley sweetness.
