STRATHCLYDE 25 Y/O The Sovereign 51.7% 70cl
This whisky opens with a mellow nose with meringue, raspberry and redcurrants all featuring alongside a slight floral note. On the palate it is velvety and rich initially with vanilla fudge then a late chocolate hazelnut taste comes through at the end. The finish is pleasantly long with a nutty oak aftertaste.
