This Tomintoul 15 year old Port Cask Finish has been created by the careful selection of mature whisky finished in Port Pipe Casks from Portugal.

The Port pipe casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting chocolate, cherry, sultana and spices, which enhance the character and complexity of the whisky.

Distilled in 2006 and limited to 9,762 bottles. Each bottle is individually numbered. 

Non-chill filtered and natural colour. 

The area surrounding Tomintoul Distillery is one of astounding natural beauty. This natural environment combined with the fresh mountain air of the Cairngorms, the soft, pure water from the Ballantruan spring and the tall and mighty stills of Tomintoul, all contribute to creating our exceptionally smooth and well-balanced whisky.

Nose: Maraschino cherries and cooked fruits mingled with tonka bean, flaked chocolate and cedar spices. 

Palate: Sweet and luscious with layers of cherry liqueur chocolates, rhubard crumble and ginger biscuits bound with baking spices. 

Finish: Warming notes of dark chocolate, sultanas and mocha fading into a clove and cinnamon glow.
