Delivery Times

UK Mainland - Delivery can be between 2 and 5 days

European Deliveries - Delivery can be between 5 and 7 days

Worldwide Deliveries - Delivery can be between 2 and 3 weeks

We try to ship products as promptly as possible but always allow a few days extra for delivery as delays can be caused by factors outwith the control of our couriers. If you feel that it has taken longer than expected then please email us at sales@whiskycastle.com. Unfortunately we cannot accept orders to countries that have alcohol exemptions.

Customs

Please note that although we ship products to many countries around the world, certain countries have restrictions regarding the supply of products containing alcohol. Your order may be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in your chosen country, which are levied at the time the package clears customs. All additional charges are entirely the responsibility of the recipient. Customs policies are different in many countries, The Whisky Castle has no control over these charges so you should contact your local customs office for further information. For this reason, we despatch goods to some countries entirely at the risk of the customer and, although we maintain proof of shipment from our carriers we unfortunately cannot guarantee delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to insure any products they purchase against accidental damage or breakage during shipment. Customs may impound the goods or open them for inspection and thus may delay delivery to you. The goods may also be tarnished or damaged during this process. In the event of delayed delivery due to customs intervention, The Whisky Castle cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred. Please check all goods carefully on receipt for damage or breakage. It is important that any problems are documented when signing for your package(s) on receipt. This will aid any relevant insurance claim.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we can back order it for you if the product is available. If we cannot source the item then we will refund all your monies. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns Policy

If you are sent a product that has been damaged in transit please contact us as soon as possible with the details and we will resolve this issue for you. If you are unhappy with a product, for a reason other than damage, please inform us within 7 days of delivery and arrange for the product to be returned to us in excellent condition in its original packaging. We will then reimburse you for the cost of the product, excluding delivery cost. If the product is returned damaged unfortunately we cannot give a refund.

Definition of Damage

If the goods are delivered damaged do not accept them and return them immediately with the delivery company. The goods must not be signed for and they must be clearly marked on the paperwork as ‘Undeliverable Due To Damage’. This will be clearly noticeable by damaged or wet packaging or packaging where sealing tape or coverings are cut and/or the contents are exposed. If you have signed for goods and they are damaged internally without breakage then we must be informed immediately and the goods returned to the Whisky Castle. Any open bottles where the seal is cut or the bottle is open are non-returnable and no refund will be given.
