An Intimate Tasting with Catherine Baber, Brand Ambassador from Gordon & MacPhail

Friday 3rd May 4.00pm - 5.15pm 

Join us in our private tasting room on Friday 3rd May for an exclusive and intimate tasting session with Catherine Baber from Gordon & MacPhail. For more than 125 years they have led the way in independent bottling. This family owned business has expert knowledge in matching whisky to casks with an inventory others can only dream of.

The company has changed dramtically recently and there are now only 50 retailers of the Gordon & MacPhail products in the UK and The Whisky Castle are proud to be 1 of the 50.

During our session you will be given an insight into their 2 distilleries - Benromach and the new Cairn distillery. You will get the chance to sample from the current ranges including Discovery, Distillery and Connoisseurs Choice ranges as well as a Benromach whisky.

The tasting session at 4pm, for a maximum of 8 guests in each session. You can book as a group or individually. As an informal and intimate tasting, you will be able to interact with Catherine and ask any questions that you may have. 

Following your tasting experience, you will move through to the Whisky Castle where a member of our team will show you the full Gordon & MacPhail ranges available in our shop and you will have the opportunity to buy a bottle to take home!

Catherine will also be available in our whisky shop the same day for a free tasting of the Gordon and MacPhail range of whiskies from 11am - 2pm.

Please note, all of our events are for 18’s and over. 

As our tutored tastings are educational, the drams poured will be 15ml.
