Benromach Distillery was originally founded in 1898 and mothballed in 1983. 

Gordon and MacPhail then purchased the distillery in 1993 and commenced operation in 1998. The aim from this new beginning was to recreate an old school style Speyside Single Malt and use peated malt of around 12-14ppm for their entire operation. 

This Peat Smoke Benromach Sherry Cask Matured was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2018 at 59.9%.

Made with heavily peated Scotich barley and then matured slowly in First Fill Sherry Hogsheads.

Tasting Notes: Cured meats with sherry notes, warm spicy notes and a rich smoky finish.
