This expression was distilled and filled into whisky re-fill casks in December 2002 for 14 years, before being transferred into organic PX casks in May 2016.
Non chill filtered and natural colour. Limited to only 2505 bottles.
Very dry on the nose, this eco-conscious malt has slightly sulphury notes which roll back to reveal sweet dried fruits, raisins and dates. The palate is sweeter, with caramel and maple-syrup coating the mouth, alongside mixed candied peel and sherry soaked raisins. The finish is long and sweet, fading to honeyed cashews.
