An Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Islay Barley and a First Fill Bourbon Barrel.

Bottle number 49 from 233 bottles. Aged 12 years old.

Distilled on the 5th December 2008 this whisky spent its 12 years of maturing life in a First Fill Bourbon Barrel from a mystery American Distillery. 

This Single Malt is a true Islander as it was not only distilled and matured on the Island but the barley was grown near the distillery from 'The Glebe'. 

Bottled in June 2021 as Release MG 3.2 of the Jim McEwan Signature Collection non chill filtered and natural colour at natural cask strength of 58.8%.

One of only 233 bottles.
