Distilled and Bottled in Scotland by Justerini & Brooks, St James Street, London SW1.

Justerini & Brooks were founded in 1749 by Italian Giacomo Justerini and then in the 1830's Alfred Brooks to give the firm its long-lasting name. 

Justerini & Brooks were better known as J&B, wine and spirit merchants then later blenders and bottlers of Scotch Whisky. Knockando has been one of the key malts within their J&B Rare blend. 

This bottling of Knockando 1987 was bottled as a Single Malt under the Justerini & Brooks name. 

The distillery Knockando has a Gaelic name of 'Little Black Hill' lies in the heart of Speyside. 

Each bottle of Knockando contains malt whisky distilled in one particular year, or season as it's called at the Distillery. Knockando waits for nature to bring the malt whisky to the point of perfection before bottling, Knockando is usually between 12 and 15 years old,

The season of distillation and year of bottling is shown on both the bottle and the tube.
