The Mac-Talla Range of Single Malt Scotch Whisky is proudly owned by the Morrison Family as Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.
It all began during the 18th century when Morrison started out as grocers. The family business has since developed into whisky brokers, blenders, bottlers and distillers.
Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is solely owned and operated by Jamie and Brian Morrison.
For every Single Malt release Morrison are committed to imparting their knowledge of distilling which they have learned over their generations of whisky making.
Over the generations they have gained access to a wide variety of unique and exceptional casks from distilleries throughout Scotland.
Mac-Tall means “echo” in Scottish Gaelic, which perfectly reflects the connection between the Morrison family and the Isle of Islay over four generations.
Each whisky in the Mac-Talla range has been created on the Island of Islay, off the West Coast of Scotland on the weather-beaten shores.
The Mara relects a maritime nature, having been heavily influenced by the Atlantic Sea Salt atmosphere that engulfs Islay.
Powerful and Smoky and matured from American Oak.
The wild fiery sea with the unforgiving land lead to this powerful and smoky single malt.
Non chill Filtered and Natural Colour bottled at 58.2%
