At Scapa every stage from milling to distillation is overseen by the artisans at the Distillery. Situated on the shores of Scapa Flow the Distillery is at the mercy of the environment.
This Scapa 10 year old release is sophisticated, with subtle notes of fresh tropical fruits, a true expression of the character of the Scapa Single Malts.
Matured in ex-American oak barrels and bottled at 48%.
Nose: Notes of fresh slices of pineapple and mango ice cream lead into notes of moreish crème brûlée, honey topped pancakes and cinnamon buns with a hint of citrus peel.
Palate: Notes of apple stewed with warming spices and served with vanilla custard pairs with light notes of banana, charred oak, and milk chocolate.
