This unique Single Malt distilled and filled at The Speyside Distillery on behalf of The Whisky Cellar.

Distilled in 2014 into a hogshead cask then split and finished into two smaller Octave Casks which had previously held the desert wine Vino Santo from Tuscany in Italy. 

Tasting Notes: Toffee apples, dark plums, treacle, charred oak smoke and cigar box.

The original PINTAIL named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was first bottled and distributed by Perth based Wines and Spirits Merchant Matthew Gloag & Son in 1931. The label has been resurrected in all its original glory, including the 'DUCK IN FLIGHT' icon.

Pintail from The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh based Independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock and bottling at its peak character.
