The GlenDronach Distillery was mothballed / closed between 1996 to 2002. This 21 year old was bottled in 2023 when production was considered consistent after the closure.

Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years with natural colour and bottled at 48%, the ‘Parliament’ continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit laden intensity in its single malts.

This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years.

Nose: Elegant ripe autumn fruits with blackberries and red plums, enlivened by candied orange. Spiced oatmeal and toasted oak deliver weight and balance. 

Palate: Sip resolute flavours of fine sherry and bitter chocolate sauce poured on nutmeg and ginger baked Victoria plum pudding. 

Finish: Savour plum skin and ripe blackberry in dark chocolate treacle, well into the perfectly sublime long lasting finish.
