This Macallan Folio 6 Single Malt is a Limited Edition and a special collectors bottle released from The Macallan Distillery.

The Macallan Folio 6 is part of the highly coveted Archival Series by Macallan Distillery, which celebrates the rich history of the brands advertising campaigns. 

This Folio 6 comes in a beautiful booked shaped tin, resembling a folio, with a detailed illustration of the vintage advert it was inspired by. 

Included is a booklet that dives into the history of the advertisement campaign offering collectors a nostalgic look into Macallan's heritage. 

The 6th Edition bottle and book-shaped presentation case are presented to showcase a campaign that featured 'The Chairman' depicted as a Scotsman dancing the Highland Fling over a pen and paint brush, which were the symbols of the advertising team Holmes and Salaman.

Like all the Macallan Archival Series releases the Folio 6 is an exceptional non age statement Single Malt, which carries the brand signature profile. 

The Macallan Folio 6 was crafted using a combination of Sherry-seasoned oak casks which is the hallmark of Macallan Single Malt. These casks are typically European and American Oak seasoned with Sherry from Jerez in Spain.

Tasting notes: Orange, poached pear and vanilla makes way to ginger and milk chocolate on the palate, leaving you with a long and warming finish. 

This limited edition release from the Archival Series is the 6th Edition which commemorates Macallan's advertising campaigns from the 1970's, 80s and 90s. Each edition features a metal case in the form of a book. It contains the bottle and a book explaining what the edition celebrates.
