This famous set of whiskies were launched in 2012 and were discountinued in 2018. All the bottlings are exclusively matured in sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez in Spain.
Macallan Gold 40%
Nose: Lemon citrus peel followed by orange peel and an interlacing sweetness.
Palate: Boiled sweets and citrus with hints of ginger and cinnamon.
Finish: A medium sweet finish which is malty and slightly dry.
Macallan Amber 40%
Nose: Floral citrus and sweet nose commanding a chorus of sweet vanilla notes.
Palate: Fresh green apples with lemon mingle with cinnamon.
Finish: A light to medium with soft fruits and cereal and slightly dry.
Macallan Sienna 43%
Nose: Subtle vanilla with orange turning zesty and sharp.
Palate: Dates, figs and raisins lead to nutmeg and ginger with a hint of oranges and apples.
Finish: The final fanfare is gentle, smooth and warming.
Macallan Ruby 43%
Nose: Rich dried fruits and an edgy .
Palate: Dates, figs and raisins lead to nutmeg and ginger with a hint of oranges and apples.
