Join us in our private tasting room on Sunday 5th May for an exclusive and intimate tasting session with Sam Cain, Brand Ambassador from Isle of Harris Distillers.
One of the most inticipated whisky launches in 2023 was the launch of the whisky Hearach from Harris. Starting a distillery and launching a gin to help pay the wages until the whisky is ready was not the plan at Harris. They developed one of the best gins in Scotland which has grown from strength to strength giving them a great template of what to do when they launched their new whisky. Wow what a fantastic product and a great launch.
Come and hear first hand about the Isle of Harris Distillers story, the successful launch of the whisky and get a chance to sample which is destined to be one of the best in the world. The tasting sessions run at 11.00am and 1.15pm, for a maximum of 8 guests in each session. You can book as a group or individually. As an informal and intimate tasting, you will be able to interact with Sam and ask any questions that you may have. Following your tasting experience, you will move through to the Whisky Castle where a member of our team will show you the Harris whisky and gin range available in our shop and depending on current stocks you may have the opportunity to buy a bottle to take home!
Sam will also be available in our whisky shop the same day for a free tasting of the recently released Hearach Whisky and Harris gin from 3pm - 5pm.
Please note, all of our events are for 18’s and over. As our tutored tastings are educational, the drams poured will be 15ml.
