Ballindalloch 'The Castle' The Novel and The Peated Expression Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 50% 70cl

Released on the 24th April 2025. A new Single Malt released with a free Novel from John Sutherland.

The Ballindalloch Distillery debut their very first lightly peated expression, crafted from a combination of Bourbon and ex-peated spirit casks and bottled at 50% ABV. 

This is a limited release of 2,400 bottles. Non chill Filtered and Natural Colour.

Each bottle comes with a free Novel from the Sunday Times Bestselling author John Sutherland. 

This Novel is a thriller, The Castle, which is set on a fictional estate inspired by Ballindalloch, and this whisky is featured throughout the novel. The Distillery chose this new cask profile to reflect the twists and surprises of this great thriller, the Ballindalloch classic Speyside whisky with an unexpected hint of smoke.

The surrounding land and the distillery is owned by the Macpherson-Grant's who live in the nearby Ballindalloch Castle, the home of the family since 1546.

An old steading from 1848 was converted to be the new distillery from 2011.

The barley is grown in the surrounding fields and the draff from the production is fed to the herd of Black Angus owned by the family.
