Old Ballantruan The Peated Malt from Tomintoul Distillery Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 50% 70cl

"Old Ballantruan" has its name due to the Ballantruan Spring used at the Tomintoul Distillery. The Tomintoul Smoky Original Non-Chill Filtered Peated Speyside Single Malt. 

Distilled using heavily peated 55ppm malted barley in the traditional manner. Bottled at 50%.

After maturing in hand picked oak barrels this peated whisky non chill filtered Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been bottled at 50% to give an exceptionally good value bottling from the Tomintoul Distillery. 

Colour: Warm Glow

Nose: Heathery smoke balanced with subtle floral notes.

Palate: Gentle "peat-reek" flavours with hints of citrus tones and malty nuttiness. 

Finish: Lingering smoke and peat with a touch of malted barley sweetness.
