From the Balmenach Distillery, which was founded in 1824 then mothballed in 1993 until 1998 in Cromdale, Moray within the Speyside region.
You rarely find a Single Malt from Balmenach, however we think this is a superb example of Speyside Sherry Single Malt.

Distilled in 2009 and bottled on 15/05/2025 at 62.5%.
First-Fill Sherry Hogshead Cask Finish. Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour.
Limited to only 310 bottles and only available for purchase from our Whisky Castle in Tomintoul.
Nose: Stewed berry aromas combine with cocoa powder, festive spices and cherry.
Palate: Bright vanilla pod flavours lead to sultanas and tart raspberry.
Finish: A long lingering finish with citrus and black pepper.
