From the Independent Bottler Murray Mc David Benchmark Limited Release. 

Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 and limited to only 1338 bottles.

Non chill filtered and Natural Colour bottled at 53.2%

Matured in its final three years in luxurious barriques that were previously used to age one of the world's oldest classified wines - Tokaji Sweet Wine barriques from Hungary. 

Nose: Dried pear, tropical fruit, blossom.

Palate: Bright citrus, rich cereal, oak spice.

Finish: Floral, orange blossom, sweet malt. 

Since 1994 Murray McDavid have been poineers in the Art of Maturation by aging whisky in casks previously used for fine wines and spirits. Benchmark is the centre range from Murray McDavid offering small craft batches of distinctive matured single malt whiskies.
