Benromach Distillery was originally founded in 1898 and mothballed in 1983. 

Gordon and MacPhail then purchased the distillery in 1993 and commenced operation in 1998. The aim from this new beginning was to recreate an old school style Speyside Single Malt and use peated malt of around 12-14ppm for their entire operation. 

The first Benromach 10 year old was produced from 2009. This is the Cask Strength of 100° proof which is 57% abv. 

Tasting Notes: Intense and richly complex with sherry kicks, stewed fruits, beeswax polish, vanilla pods and delicate smoke.
