Benromach Distillery was originally founded in 1898 and mothballed in 1983.

Gordon and MacPhail then purchased the distillery in 1993 and commenced operation in 1998. The aim from this new beginning was to recreate an old school style Speyside Single Malt and use peated malt of around 12-14ppm for their entire operation.

The first Benromach 10 year old was produced from 2009.

Tasting Notes: Forest fruits and creamy malt with a wisp of smoke anf lingering sherry notes.
