On the banks of the River Tummel in Pitlochry, Perthshire; Blair Athol Distillery has long supplied rich malty spirit to many a blended whisky.
Rich beeswax, honey, oaky spice and toasted oats on the nose. A deep, complex and layered palate starts honeyed with a beguiling contemplative waxy character and develops into a rich full spicy flavour with some hazelnuts, oaky tannins and a little touch of fire on the finish.
