'Braes Of Glenlivet Distillery' 36 year old Single Malt Whisky (distillery now named the Braeval) distilled in 1975 and produced for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Range.

Rare and unique history for this bottle and priced for collection investment.

In 1973 Chivas Brothers who was then a subsidery of Seagrams built the 'Braes of Glenlivet Distillery'.

This bottle was distilled two years later in June 1975.

Then in 1994 the 'Braes of Glenlivet Distillery' changed its name to the 'Braeval Distillery' to avoid confusion with a very close neighbouring distillery.

In 2001 Chivas Brothers was purchased by Pernod Ricard who then closed the distillery in 2002 before being re-opened in 2008.

Bottled in October 2011. Aged 36 years old.

Nose: Fresh floral and fragrant. Palate: Mouthwatering sweet and delicate. Body: Light. Finish: Long. Cask Type: Remade American Hogshead.

For the collectors who notice detail the bottle states "Braes of Glenlivet was built in 1972" however most history books list 1973.
