From the Independent Bottler Murray Mc David, The Art of Maturation, Mission Gold, Limited Release. 

Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2024.

Llimited to only 690 bottles.  

Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour, bottled at 41.1%

Finished in a Margaux wine barrique.

Nose: Sweet malt, toffee apples, mild tobacco.

Palate: Forest fruit, buttery malt, floral honey.

Finish: Oily, creamy cereal, lingering berries.

Since 1994 Murray McDavid have been poineers in the Art of Maturation by aging whisky in casks previously used for fine wines and spirits.

Benchmark is the centre range from Murray McDavid offering small craft batches of distinctive matured single malt whiskies.
