Bunnahabhain 2010 Moine Amontillado Finish from the 2020 Feis Ile Islay Whisky Festival, this was Bunnahabhain's special Limited Edition.
Bottle number 0539 of only 1658 bottles.
Distilled in 2010 Bunnhabhain took a 6 year old whisky from their coastal warehouse and finished it in Hogsheads that once held the finest Amontilado sherry. Three years later it was ready for this whisky festival. The result is a sublime single malt dancing with pepper and peat and swirling with sweetly warming apples, oak and cocoa with a character all of its own.
Nose: Peppery peat, fresh pears and sultanas, spicy oak and vanilla custard.
Palate: Fresh expresso, dried apple, toasted oak and dusty cocoa, with notes of sweet honeycomb and warming peat.
Finish: Long and peppery, packed with rich oak and roasted nuts.

Distilled in 2002 Bunnhabhain took a 14 year old whisky from their coastal warehouse and finished it for three years in Hogsheads that once held the finest Madeira sherry. Releasing a heady symphany of figs, vanilla and cinnamon mixing with marvellous marmalade finish to offer a unique flavour for a unique occasion.
Nose: Ripe figs, creamy berries and orange marmalade with hints of nutmeg.
Palate: Complex layers of sweet vanilla, caramelized fruit and rich spicy cinnamon with hints of juicy raisins and dry oak.
Finish: Dry but warm, fading into lingering sweet marmalade.
