Bunnahabhain 'Stiuireadair' Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46.3% 70cl

Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 and is found down a single-track road on Islay where each bend offers the breathtaking views of the Sound of Islay and the rugged wild landscape.

Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair pronounced ‘stew-rahdur’ and means ‘helmsman’ in Scots Gaelic.

Both natural in colour and non-chill filtered and with a brackish, coastal tinge, this sherried single malt scotch whisky will transport you to Bunnahabhain Bay, with a smattering of sea spray and dried fruit lingering on your lips.

Meaning Helmsman in Scots Gaelic, Stiùireadair, is the first Bunnahabhain release to pay homage to the Bunnahabhain Helmsman, who adorns every bottle. But the Helmsman is no mere icon, he is a reminder of the distillery origins, a link to their past, and a symbol of their enduring appreciation of the sea by which they are surrounded.

To create Stiùireadair, the Master Blender has selected first and second fill sherry casks with spirit of varying ages and warehouse locations to construct a dram that truly exposes the coastal nature of the Bunnahabhain Single Malt Scotch Whisky,
