Cairngorm Gin is an award winning hand-crafted artisan gin produced in small batches in a traditional copper pot still in the heart of one of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes.

Hand Crafted Small Batch from the Scottish Highlands using the finest botanicals including Caledonian Pine and rare cloudberry, along with the water from the River Spey, this gin is influenced by the mountains and forests of the Cairngorm National Park creating a gin floral, fruity and earthy.

This 54% Mountain Strength gin is distilled and bottled at the foot of the mountains on the banks of the River Spey. 

Inspired by the diverse flora and fauna of Cairngorms National Park, they use nine botanicals and the freshest water from the River Spey to produce Cairngorm Mountain Strength Gin.

Mountain Strength Gin is bottled at 54% ABV. This higher strength version of the Award Winning Signature Edition which combines the finest juniper, cloudberries, elderflower and Caledonian pine, all partnered with coriander seed, orris root, sweet orange peel, angelica and kaffir lime to create this wonderfully refreshing aromatic gin.

BOLD & JUNIPER FORWARD

Nose: Light yet complex, it greets you with dried fruit, orange peel, sweet spices like fruitcake, and the familiar essence of juniper. 

Palate: A round, full mouthfeel with warm Seville orange, cinnamon and baking spices, while juniper adds length and complexity. 

Finish: The finish lingers with dried fruits, candied orange peel and crystalised ginger, while subtle liquorice and pine add depth and complexity. 

Each bottle of Cairngorm Gin is hand written with the bottle number, batch code and year of production. 

Head distiller Jack creates each artisanal gin batch by hand with passion, skill and creativity. During each distillation, the heads and tails are precisely cut to extract only the heart of the spirit and the spirit is left to rest for seven days assuring a smooth finish and full flavour in every sip.

Cairngorm Gin founder, Jack Smith, was born and raised in the valley of the River Spey, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. His family has lived in the Cairngorms National Park for decades, sharing a love and respect for the outdoors and the native flora and fauna that surrounds their home.
