Cote Rotie is a french wine appellation in the Northern Rhone wine region of France. The vineyards are unique because of their steep slopes, which receive long hours of sunlight. Also known as the "roasted slope" known for the prestigious and expensive Syrah based wines. Cote Rotie wines are renowned for being elegant and finely structured with complex aromas. 

Tasting Notes: Cigar smoke, dried red fruits, freshly laid tar, boiled sweets, sea salt and cracked black pepper.
