Our Whisky Castle Shop in Tomintoul was established in 1904 and this year we celebrate the shops 120th Anniversary with this Exclusive Single Malt Whisky bottled for us by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers who have been involved in Scotch Whisky for five generations.

Morrison Distillers produce the Càrn Mòr Stricly Limited in batches range of rare and utterly unique independent bottlings. As each release is strictly limited in batches. Once it’s gone, it’s gone! 

Càrn Mòr releases are small, limited bottlings with the aim to express the unique differences of each batch rather than trying to aim for consistency. The whisky will be as close to drinking from the cask as possible.

Cask Type: American Oak

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich and luxurious toffee from the American Virgin Oak.

Palate: Think of large panels of fresh oak being cut in a craftsmen's workshop. This is one of the oakiest whiskies we have had with lashings of viscous toffee complimented with zingy orange zest.

Finish: Medium to long. 

Distilled: 2009; Bottled: 2024; Limited to 250 bottles. 

Our "Whisky Castle" is an Indepenent Whisky Shop established in 1904 making us one of the oldest whisky shops in the world. We specialise in promoting unique whisky and this bottle has our own label.
