A family owned and operated seasonal distillery located in the heart of the Kingdom of Fife.
Distilled in 2011 and bottled 2024.
Draftmill is a farm distillery, owned and operated by the Cuthbert family. It only runs during the farms quiet periods of mid summer and winter.
The barley variety 'Publican' was grown in the 43ac field and was harvested on the estate on the 28th and 29th August 2009. It was then dried and stored on the farm to be malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010.
The whisky that went into this bottling came from 27 First Fill Ex Bourbon Barrels, which were filled in December 2011. They then matured in the upper level of their dunnage warehouse until bottling in 2024 for this Winter release.
