An Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a First Fill Bourbon Barrel.

Bottle number 233 from 257 bottles. Aged 10 years old.

Distiled on 7th July 2010 this whisky spent 10 years maturing in cask #1415.

This maturation took place in a First Fill Bourbon barrel originally from the Jim Beam Distillery. 

Established in 1795 in central Kentucky the Jim Beam Distillery to its original values of its founder some seven generations later. They mature casks for four years to impart the flavour and sweetness into their own spirit and then into the Scotch Whisky spirit the casks are used for next. 

Bottled in February 2021 as Release 2.2 of the Jim McEwan Signature Collection. With only 257 bottles this bottle is non chill filtered and natural colour with a natural cask strength of 59.4%.
