Exclusive Tasting & Canapes

You can pre-book this tasting option with us for between 2 and 8 guests. We offer an intimate, sit-down tasting, with one of our whisky experts in our private tasting room. These tastings normally take place after hours, but these can also be accommodated during the day.

You will be taken through a detailed breakdown of 3 whiskies from our independent, exclusive, and unique ranges. This will be followed by whisky-paired canapes and then you will enjoy another 3 whiskies.

If booking after hours, you will have exclusive use of The Whisky Castle, where you can take your time browsing our whisky collection and asking any questions you may have. You will be asked in advance as to your preference of whisky styles, so we can create a tasting to suit your palette and level of whisky knowledge.

Example Whisky Menus: 

Independent Drams: All whiskies are independently bottled from 1 up to 6 casks maximum, with a selection of light drams, through to sweet sherried whisky and then smoky whisky.

Tomintoul Selection: Our local gentle dram consists of light bourbon, heavier sherry, fuller finishes like a port or wine cask and then a smoky one to finish.

Unique Finishes: Whiskies from various cask strengths with unique cask finishes such as white and tawny port, red and white wine, beer and Hungarian Tojaki wine – it all depends on what is available when you book as we are buying new whiskies all the time.
