Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength Highland Single Malt 60% 70cl

An exceptional cask strength from the Glenfarclas Distillery. Enjoyed with a little water to taste.

In 1968 George S Grant decided to bottle a cask of natural strength as a christmas gift for family and friends. The strength of the cask was 105 British Proof, so the Glenfarclas 105 was then born.

Colour: Deep, peaty-gold.

Nose: Complex oaky, apples and pears with a tempting dark toffee sweetness.

Palate: Dry and assertive flavour developing to reveal a rich spiciness combining with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.

Finish: Well rounded with a warm lingering spice .

Since 1865 when the Glenfarclas Distillery was originally purchased by John Grant the Distillery has been owned and managed by just one family for five generations, the Grants of Glenfarclas.

Glenfarclas from the gaelic meaning is 'valley of the green grassland' nestles at the foot of Ben Rinnes in Speyside. The spirit is twice distilled in traditional direct fired stills and made in the original Highland Style.
