100% Oloroso cask maturation

Nose: Complx and refined with tempting aromas marmalade, honey and freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts with some oaky tannins. 

Palate: Full bodied and robust, the sherry and oak figh for your attention, but neither overpowering. 

Finish: Intense long lasting, dry and malty. A beautiful dark chocolate taste at the back of your mouth.

Since 1865 when the Glenfarclas Distillery was originally purchased by John Grant the Distillery has been owned and managed by just one family for five generations, the Grants of Glenfarclas. 

Glenfarclas from the gaelic meaning is 'valley of the green grassland' nestles at the foot of Ben Rinnes in Speyside. The spirit is twice distilled in traditional direct fired stills and made in the original Highland Style.
