Made in Orkney and matured in hand selected refill casks and first-filled sherry seasoned European and American oak casks for outstanding balance.
Orkney is where the North Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. The salt laden winds sculpt the coastlines where they have mile after mile of peat carpets covering the moorland with the vast skies above.
At Highland Park they smoke their barley over the peat, which is cut responsibly and sparingly from Hobbister Moor. Rich in heather it burns slowly in the kiln, creating floral aromas that give Highland Park its uniquely light smoky sweetness.
