House of Commons 12 year old No 1 Scotch Whisky bottled by James Buchanan with a faded signature by the late Margaret Thatcher when she was the Prime Minister (1979-1990).

A rare House of Commons 12 year Old No 1 Scotch Whisky signed by Margaret Thatcher when she was the Prime Minister. 

Now discontinued as Gordon and MacPhail now supply the House Of Commons. 

The Buchanan Blend became so popular with the MPs at Westminster the whisky became known to the public as ‘that House of Commons whisky’. James Buchanan, then secured the contract to suppy Scotch Whisky to the House of Commons in 1885. 

This bottle is in good condition although the signature is faded it can be seen.
