Kilchoman Small Batch Limited Release Batch 4 was limited to only 1260 bottles.

Matured in a combination of 70% ex-bourbon casks, 25% STR (Shaved, Toasted, Recharred) casks and the remaining 5% Oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman, for this batch, the bourbon casks were reduced to 46% before vatting and the STR cask went into the vat at full strength to emphasise its flavours and maximise its influence. A punchy, full-flavoured Islay treat.

Non-chill Filtered and Natural Colour. 

Nose: Citrus sweetness gives way to red berries, baking spices with waves of peat smoke and herbal notes. 

Palate: Summer fruit and red grape sweetness, white chocolate, light hints of smokiness, charred pineapple and toffee.

Finish: Long lingering smoky finish.

Established in 2005 the Distillery is owned and run by the Wills family. Kilchoman is Islay’s only Farm Distillery. Their 100% Islay range represents the revival of traditional farm distilling as they stand alone as Islay’s only Single Farm Single Malt Scotch Whisky, all produced at Kilchoman from barley to bottle.
