This very special collectors bottle is the Lagavulin 16 year old Islay Single Malt which was bottled exclusively as the Lagavulin Distillery Exclusive Special Festival Edition for the Feis Ile 2017 Islay Whisky Festival.
Bottled to celebrate the Islay Feis Ile 2017 Whisky Festival this bottling was personally selected as the Distillery Edition Festival Special by Iain McArthur, the Distillery Warehouse Manager.
This Special Festival Edition is bottle number 3242 and one of only 6,000 bottles released with the presentation bag only at the festival.
Bottled in 2017 this very special Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is aged 16 years old and bottled at the natural cask strength of 56.1% and finished in Double Matured in Moscatel Wood Casks.
