Friar John Cor is part of a new set of special releases from Lindores. This bottle is the second in the series named Chapter 2 with more chapters in the set to follow.
Each Chapter has a unique cask make-up and this edition sees their award winning whisky matured in a combination of bourbon, STR wine barriques and rum-peat casks. The whisky strength is 60.9% and has been released in an unusual matt black bottle.
There are a small number of chapters being released in the future to add to this Chapter so this represents a good collectable for the future.
