Billy Walker from Glenallachie Distillery is the custodian of MacNair's.

Taking inspiration from MacNair's discovery of the delights of a dram beside a smoky peat fireplace, Billy Walker has drawn upon his half century of experience in blending to develop the recipe fit for a traditional Scottish toast to long life "Lang may yer lum reek".

Billy has sourced the finest Speyside and Islay Single Malts, then blended with aged GlenAllachie in pursuit of the perfect balance between peat and rich fruity character. The spirit was then matured in premium Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks. 

Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour.

Colour: Intense Mahoganay

Nose: Waves of toffee brittle, chocolate covered raisins and caramelised brown sugar, with notes of grated ginger, cigar box and toasted cinnamon sticks. 

Palate: Intense notes of coffee and ginger, with mocha, cinnamon and grilled honeycomb, followed by smoked spices, butterscotch and orange peel.
