2017 is widely regarded as an extra special year with both dry and hot climatic conditions delivering superior quality but low yielding grapes, making this rare port highly prized by connoisseurs.
Intensely ruby in colour with notes of sweet, dark fruit conserve, juicy ripe plums, balsamic acidity and silky soft tannins.
The original PINTAIL named after the dabbling duck with its distinctive pointed tail feathers, was first bottled and distributed by Perth based Wines and Spirits Merchant Matthew Gloag & Son in 1931. The label has been resurrected in all its original glory including the ‘DUCK IN FLIGHT’ icon.
