Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Single Cask from Royal British Legion Scotland from the Speyside Distillery Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% 70cl

This bottling from the Speyside Distillery in Kingussie was bottle to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee on 2nd June 2012. it was bottled by the Whisky Castle for the Royal British Legion of Scotland.

This limited release single cask is individually numbered bottle number 11 and distilled in 1996

The Speyside Distillery is nestled within the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains. Originally a barley mill and croft dating back to the 1700's, this finally closed in 1965.

Then over the next 25 years from 1965 it was slowly and lovingly converted into a single malt distillery, which then started producing spirit on Christmas Day 1990. The distillery draws it’s water from the Spey River tributary... The River Tromie using the old mill lade, which originally ran the waterwheel that powered the old mill.
