The King's own whisky was granted the First Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833.
Standing upon fertile farmland on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands lies the Royal Brackla Distillery which was founded by Captain William Fraser in 1812.
The distillery's style is opulent and fruity with rich sherried notes. Every expression of Royal Brackla is finished in the finest first-fill sherry casks, sourced directly from Spain to ensure an opulent outcome for a noble drink.
Matured in American oak and finished in the finest Oloroso sherry casks, it boasts a rich and opulent taste.
Situated on the historic Cawdor Estate, the Royal Brackla Distillery has a legacy dating back to 1812, making it one of the world's oldest distilleries, proudly standing on grounds associated with Shakespeare's Macbeth.
The full bodied spice of Oloroso and the bright summer breeze of Royal Brackla elegantly combine as a smooth and inviting dram – ripe peaches, black cherries, chocolate covered almonds and muscovado sugar.
